she befriended it.”

About Me

Welcome to Eulogies for the Living.

My name is Chloe, I’m 27—a widow, a mother, and a writer who bleeds her grief into words. This space is where I bury and unearth the pieces of myself I cannot carry in silence.

I write about the darkness that lives inside me, not to glorify it, but to name it, to wrestle with it, and—maybe one day—to cure it. My poems are my confessions, my salvation, and my survival. Each line is a eulogy not for the dead, but for the living—the parts of us we lose and the fragments we try to grow back.

This blog is my journey through widowhood, motherhood, and the shadows in between. It is where I grieve, rage, remember, and hope. It is where I turn pain into art.

If you read along, you are holding pieces of me. And perhaps, somewhere in these words, you will find pieces of yourself too.
